TEAM ADVANTAGES

Six reasons we consistently over-deliver

A studio is only as good as the constraints it sets itself. Here are the principles we hold the line on — and the practical edge they give every project we touch.

01

Veteran-only Engineering

Every member of our engineering bench has shipped consumer software at scale. Our average team tenure in iOS is over nine years, with deep specialisation across DSP, computer graphics, on-device ML and cryptography. We don't staff junior engineers on critical paths — and we don't subcontract your IP.

02

Programmatic Generation Mindset

We treat fixed assets as technical debt. Layouts, illustrations, audio textures and even onboarding flows are composed at runtime from procedural primitives. The result is software that feels hand-made for every session while remaining small, deterministic and infinitely varied.

03

Privacy as Load-bearing Wall

Privacy is not a settings toggle — it is a load-bearing wall of our architecture. Local-first storage, on-device processing, encryption at rest, opt-in sync, granular consent, no dark patterns. We've shipped this approach across six published apps and learned its sharp edges the hard way.

04

Cultural Sensitivity by Default

Our audience spans European, North American and emerging markets. We design for colour-vision accessibility, multi-script typography, low-bandwidth environments, multi-generational users, and the realities of shared household devices. Craftsmanship without inclusion is decoration.

05

Compliance as Engineering Discipline

GDPR, UK-GDPR, CCPA, CPRA, VCDPA, LGPD, PIPEDA, DPDP, APPI, NDPA, PIPL, DSA, ATT — these are not paperwork, they are engineering requirements. We design consent flows, data residency and audit logs into the first sprint, not the last week before launch.

Quiet, Long-term Partnerships

We don't scale our roster of clients — we scale the depth of attention we give them. Most of our engagements span multiple years, with quarterly reviews and roadmaps that evolve with the user's reality. We are not the cheapest bid; we are the last studio you'll need to hire.

Questions we get often enough to answer publicly

Most engagements span 18–36 months. We deliberately avoid short-burst, project-based work because the depth of craft we promise requires time to mature. A minimum initial commitment of six months is typical.

Our primary specialisation is iOS (Swift, SwiftUI, Metal, Core ML), but we maintain a parallel Android team for Kotlin / Jetpack Compose projects where the client requires both. We do not currently build for desktop, web or console platforms.

You own everything. Source code, designs, research artefacts, even the procedural generators we build — all assigned to you under a standard work-for-hire agreement. We retain no re-use rights without explicit written consent.

It means the user's data lives on the device, encrypted at rest, with zero round-trip to any server unless the user explicitly enables cross-device sync. Even then, the cloud sees ciphertext only — keys stay in the Secure Enclave.

AppLovin MAX, Google AdMob and Unity LevelPlay as primary mediation, plus Meta Audience Network, Pangle, Mintegral, InMobi, Vungle, ironSource, Chartboost, Tapjoy, AdColony, Digital Turbine, Yandex Ads and BidMachine as secondaries. MMPs include AppsFlyer, Adjust, Singular, Kochava, Branch and Tenjin. All routed through a consent-gated SDK stack.

For active partners, we maintain a four-hour SLA on business days via support@devflowbytegrid.com. For privacy and rights requests specifically, we respond within seven calendar days as required by GDPR Art. 12.

Occasionally, for the right team and the right product. We prefer small equity (3–7%) plus reduced fees, with a vesting schedule tied to milestones rather than calendar time. Please reach out via contact@devflowbytegrid.com.
